Mission Statement of the Idaho Association of Teachers of Language and Culture

The mission of the Idaho Association of Teachers of Language and Culture is to provide leadership for all Idaho teachers who have the opportunity to teach a foreign or second language to their students. The Association will provide quality professional development activities through an annual conference as well as encourage attendance at other workshops such as those provided by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages or any other body with a legitimate interest in the acquisition of a second language. We will seek funding and grant opportunities to enhance language acquisition in or out of the classroom and promote foreign language learning among Idaho students of all ages.
