IATLC Spanish Section Scholarships for Teachers

For the 2019 IATLC Annual State Conference on October 3rd and 4th at College of Idaho in Caldwell, the Spanish section will be awarding two $80 scholarships to cover the cost of conference registration and IATLC dues. Teachers that are new to the profession and continuing teachers may apply. 

To qualify for these scholarships candidates must be:
1) Currently teaching Spanish in Idaho. (Student teachers may also apply.)
To apply, please write a short essay in Spanish (400 words) explaining why you feel attending IATLC annual conference would help you Practice Proficiency! and improve your classroom teaching.  Please include the name of the school where you teach, a valid telephone number and the mailing address with your submission. Send it via email to all three Spanish section board members at [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] by September 25, 2019. 
 
***Preference given to teachers who live outside of the Treasure Valley, do not receive support from their school district to attend, or submit a presentation proposal for this year's conference.
